Pizza with Quinoa Crust

Conventional pizzas are “no-nos” for those of us who want to “eat right.” With the combination of wheat flour, cheeses and oftentimes, pork, they contain “avoids”  for most people and lead to indigestion and bloatedness. However, with a few tweaks, you can create your own homemade pizza that is not only easy to digest but are as delicious as the “real thing.”

On the ingredient list, I have used tomato sauce, but it is an avoid for Type A Secretors and Type B Secretors. An alternative option is the “nomato” sauce (see recipe here). As for the toppings, you can go liberal on them as long as they are neutral or beneficial for your type. Type A Non-secretors and Type O Secretors can use anchovies while other types should avoid it. On the other hand, these other types can use white mushrooms whereas Type A Nonnies and O Secretors should avoid them. Type AB, A Secretors and O Secretor can use green olives, but black olives should be avoided by all.
